This game illustrates a closed position and eventual Bishop sacrifice (move #35) to secure a win.
This was a very unusual situation. The program I practice against does not normally play this defensively, and basically avoided any chance to attack. Personally, I love situations like this because they they turn into long, complex games where both sides are trying to figure out how to break through to the other side. In this case, I consciously decided to trade out the Knights early in the game, knowing that it would ultimately take a Bishop sacrifice to break through.
