One of our “Standard” Events…
Summary
A “rotational” type event played for a pre-defined time, lasting two to three hours. At the end of each round, the all of the players rotate, playing a new opponent. This type of event works best for groups of four or more, with each player using their PCC Time Handicap. All matches happen simultaneously.
Details
Initial Setup
- Setup boards and clocks for the number of people available.
- Boards should alternate White and Black as shown in the diagram below.
- Designate a specific “open” spot where players sit out a round (if there are an odd number of players) and/or late comers enter the rotation.
- Setup the clocks for the first round using each player’s PCC Time Handicap as shown on the Member Roster.
Play Sequence
- Play the first round. When it is over, record all scores.
- Rotate all players one seat in a clockwise direction. If the boards were setup correctly, players will alternate between playing White and Black each match.

- Continue playing rounds until time elapses.
