Format

This is a USCF Rated Blitz Tournament using a double Round Robin; each player plays every other player twice – once as White and once as Black. group once.

Play normally starts at 9:35 am.

The time control for this event is G5, d0 (5 minutes per player, no delay time).

Rating Info

At the end of the tournament, the final results will be submitted to the USCF, where they will update each player’s official rating(s).

Since the time control for this tournament is G5, d0, each player’s finish will be applied to their Blitz rating, which can be viewed online:

Fees

The entry fee for this tournament depends on your USCF and PCC status:

• Free for USCF rated Masters
• $20 for Prescott Chess Club “Upgraded” Members
• $25 for everyone else
• Fees are collected on-site before the event begins.

Note – a current and active U. S. Chess membership is required to play in this event. If you are not already a member, they offer a large variety of membership types and fee structures.

Prizes

Cash prizes are awarded to 1st through 3rd place. Actual prize amount is based on the number of entrants.
